«Otros Páramos» es un proyecto que recorre mundos de mujeres. Se han seleccionando temáticas desde la antigüedad hasta el momento actual. Desde las mujeres silenciosas a las que han dejado la huella de sus voces, desde las sociedades pobres a las sofisticadas. Es un trabajo de búsqueda sobre culturas, ritos, costumbres y tradiciones en torno al mundo de la mujer que, en muchos casos, alcanza a sus hijos. La situación de las mujeres se hace visible a través de sus cantos, poemas o idiomas secretos para hacernos tomar conciencia del aislamiento y la represión que las sociedades han venido ejerciendo sobre ellas.
“Otros Páramos” is a project that looks into the world of women, with topics ranging from ancient times to nowadays. From silent women to those whose voices still echo from the past. From the poorest societies to the most sophisticated.
It is a research investigation about culture, society, rites, customs and traditions regarding the world of the woman. A world that occasionally extends to their children. Situation of women is showed through their songs, poems or secret languages in order to make us aware of the isolation and repression imposed on them by society.
